Maiori, Italy holds a special place in my heart. I’ve traveled to this small coastal town many times since 2005. To date, it is my favorite vacation destination in Italy. My last post, Morning in Maiori, Italy: A Photo Tour-Part One, showed you a sampling of life in this Amalfi Coast town at dawn. Now enjoy more of my early morning seaside stroll.
Maiori hosted a contest several months ago to spruce up this small park below. Each of these benches were painted by artists from around the Amalfi Coast. The winner received around 200 Euro, but Maiori was the big winner. I love seeing this splash of color just across the street from the beach.
This small structure is a great addition to Maiori. For five cents you can refill your water bottle.
Nothing beats the smell of freshly baked bread while walking around town.
After an hour long walk through this amazing seaside town, I treated myself to two cappuccino’s and a cornetto with chocolate from Rosy Bar.
I highly recommend getting out and about as the sun rises. It’s a wonderful way to see Italy in all of its splendor.
