IMG_1048.JPGThe 3rd Annual Bagni di Lucca Art Festival kicked off last night in Ponte a Serraglio.  Huge crowds gathered in this quaint Tuscan village for the start of the seventeen day event.

IMG_1034.JPGThe Mayor of Bagni di Lucca, along with organizers and artists, opened the festival with a ribbon cutting.  Eleven artists from around the world are showcasing their exhibitions in various venues along the main street in Ponte a Serraglio.  Art forms on display range from paintings, photography, and sculptures to video exhibitions and curator space poetry.

IMG_1050.JPGProsecco, wine and Beluga vodka flowed freely while we all enjoyed the successful start to this year’s art festival. This is our first year in Ponte a Serraglio and I am proud to soon call it home. It’s fantastic to see the streets filled with music, art and celebrations.IMG_1047.JPG
